This year’s Super Bowl did not disappoint. The Kansas City Chiefs took home the cup, and celebrities took fun to various clubs across Western continental America.
After the final whistle and cup handover at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, celebrities dispersed into different locations in Los Angeles and other popular party spots. From exclusive private parties to grand affairs, here’s a rundown of some of the most notable events and the celebrities who attended them.
The Fanatics party
Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin hosted one of the most exclusive parties of the entire weekend. It kicked off just hours after the big game at the swanky Arizona Biltmore.
The party was jam-packed with A-listers and all-star athletes, including Teyana Taylor, Jay-Z, Dixie A’melio, Winnie Harlow, New England Patriots CEO Robert Kraft, Drake, and Kevin Durant.
It featured performances by The Chainsmokers, A$AP Ferg, Meek Mill, J Balvin, Lil Baby, and Travis Scott also took to the stage at the party.
The Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party
Saturday night was also lit up by Sports Illustrated’s The Party. So many big names were spotted in the crowd, thrown wild by an MGK performance. The star animated the crowd with his long list of hits, including “God Save Me,” My Ex’s Best Friend,” and “Maybe.”
Interestingly, MGK seemed bothered less by the rumors of a brewing breakup with his girlfriend, Megan Fox. The actress recently unfollowed her boyfriend on social media, leading fans to speculate that the couple had broken up.
Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have been dating for over a year and have been very public about their relationship. The couple has been seen together at numerous events, including the MTV Video Music Awards. They were also present at another party during the weekend.
Despite the speculation, neither Fox nor Machine Gun Kelly has commented on the rumors of a breakup. A source told Page Six that Fox did not accompany MGK to Sports Illustrated’s The Party.
Tao and Maxim Big Game party
The same evening, revelers gathered at the Southwest Jet Center in Scottsdale for the “Big Game Party: Catch Me If You Can.” MAXIM, in collaboration with unKommon and Tao Group, hosted the party.
The crowd was electrified by performances by Loud Luxury, Offset, and Zedd, among others. However, the night’s highlight was Cher cuddling with her boyfriend, Alexander Edwards. Other big names in attendance were Jalen Rose, Gordon Ramsay, and Bobby Flay.
The “Rihanna Concert”
The half-time show was the mother of all parties during this year’s Super Bowl. Millions of fans streamed into the State Farm.
Stadium not only to witness the Chiefs lift the trophy but also enjoy the comeback of a queen. And she did not disappoint.
Rihanna electrified the crowd with her long list of global hits. But the highlight was her surprise package to the fans, a baby bump.
Celebrities like DJ Khaled could not contain their joy after the show. The super producer said to Page Six, “Congratulations in advance. They changed the name of the Super Bowl. It’s called ‘RiRi Super Bowl.’ I’mma have my airhorn ready and I’m going to order me a cheeseburger well done.”
Other smaller festivities occurred during the Super Bowl weekend, including Flay’s Players Tailgate. It was hosted by Guy Fieri and Flay. The event attracted over 2000 people.
